Today was dedicated to making treats for Christmas and then it turned into making a giant pot of Chili and Potato Soup. We gave a ton to the neighbor lady who live alone since her husband died and took her some early Christmas treats as well. Mom and I gave up and the ginger bread men and the became ginger cookies, too much time cutting out the pattern of the men, just not enough patience to do that today. Did manage to get about 12 dozen more cookies done and treats ready to give out to the neighbors. We are still the only ones on this end of the block to have our lights up and on. Going to be really cold again tomorrow night in the twenties again, of which I don’t mind one bit.
